Shoppers say ‘Ciao’ to Enfield’s first Italian Market

Enfield will be saying ‘ciao’ to a fantastic Italian market, ‘Italia in Piazza’, coming to ‘fountain island’ in Enfield Town on 10 and 11 July (9am till 5pm).

italianThe market will be bringing a wide range of high quality Italian foods to Enfield. Shoppers will be able to choose from mouthwatering delights such as cheese, cured meats, specialty pasta, olive oils and balsamic vinegars, a variety of hot foods and specialty bread.

Enfield Council’s Cabinet Member for Economic Regeneration and Business Development, Cllr Alan Sitkin, said: “Enfield Town has played host to two highly successful French markets, and now is the time to welcome the new Italian market.

“These types of events are not only popular but really help to transform the area and support the businesses that trade there. It brings more people to our town centres, whilst we work to make them more attractive and competitive places to shop.

“Enfield is ‘open for business’. We are ready to help and work with businesses of all sizes to make Enfield an attractive place to set up. So pay the new Italian market a visit, bag a bargain and support your town centre.”
